Overview of Rajasthan Aapki Beti Scheme 2026
This initiative was launched in 2004-05 to support girls from BPL families studying in government schools from grades 1 to 12 who have lost one or both parents. Previously, students in grades 1-8 received Rs. 1100 annually, while those in grades 9-12 received Rs. 1500. Following the state government circular dated 31.05.2019, these amounts were increased to Rs. 2100 for grades 1-8 and Rs. 2500 for grades 9-12.
Former CM Ashok Gehlot increased the financial assistance by Rs. 1,000. Under this scheme, BPL girls who have lost a parent receive annual support. The current aid stands at Rs. 2100 for primary/middle school students and Rs. 2500 for secondary/senior secondary students.
