AP Jagananna Gorumudda Scheme (MDM Menu) Implementation

The following guidelines outline the execution of the Mid-Day Meal program across Andhra Pradesh:

  • District Educational Officers (DEOs) are directed to ensure the program is strictly followed in all government, local body, aided, model schools, NCLP centers, and Madarsas for classes I through X. Per government mandates, students must be served boiled eggs four times each week.
  • The specified menu must be strictly adhered to, and officials are responsible for verifying that eggs are provided according to the set frequency.

Additionally, DEOs must ensure that all meal-related invoices are submitted to the Treasury by the 5th of every month, with payments disbursed by the 10th. Failure to comply with these operational guidelines will be treated with urgency.
