The government of Andhra Pradesh has launched Phase 4 of the YSR Nethanna Nestham program, dedicating a budget of Rs. 192.09 crore for weavers. Under this phase, the state provides an annual grant of Rs. 24,000 to those in the handloom industry. Previously, the third phase was rolled out on August 10, 2021, with an allocation of Rs. 192.08 crore, while the second phase, launched on June 20, 2020, cost Rs. 194.46 crore. The third phase supported 80,032 weavers, and the second reached 69,308 individuals. The inaugural phase began on December 21, 2019, with a disbursement of Rs. 191.91 crore.

- Beneficiaries are entitled to a cumulative sum of Rs. 1,20,000 over five years. Thus far, eligible weavers have received Rs. 96,000 during the first four years.
