Scholarship Funding Details
The Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme offers tiered fee waivers based on the percentage of marks achieved by the student in their respective university courses.
- Students securing between 60% and 70% marks receive a 70% concession on university fees.
- Students securing between 70% and 80% marks receive an 80% concession on university fees.
- Students securing between 80% and 90% marks receive a 90% concession on university fees.
- Students achieving above 90% marks are eligible for a 100% fee waiver, effectively granting them free education.
Terms and Conditions of the Scheme
Benefits under the Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme cannot be combined with other scholarship programs. The state government specifies that this grant is intended as a standalone benefit. However, if a student is already receiving another state or central scholarship, and the concession offered by this new scheme is more favorable, the student will be entitled to the difference in the amount.
