The Andhra Pradesh administration, under the leadership of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has launched the Connect to Andhra (CTA) digital platform at connect.ap.gov.in. Citizens can now contribute to local gram panchayats, municipal wards, or specific initiatives by completing their registration on the portal. Additionally, users can sign up to partner with the state on various developmental programs. The CTA initiative is designed to enhance public welfare by effectively leveraging CSR contributions and philanthropic donations.
Connect to Andhra (CTA) Portal
The Government of Andhra Pradesh established 'Connect to Andhra' (CTA) as a central hub to foster cooperation for development and charity. The platform invites participation from corporations, Non-Resident Telugus (NRTs), philanthropists, and various development organizations. Operating as a non-profit society under the AP Societies Act, CTA replaced the Smart Andhra Pradesh Foundation, with its goals realigned to match the state’s vision as per GORT 405 (Planning Department, dated 31-12-2019). The portal functions under the oversight of the Planning Department of the Andhra Pradesh Government.
Objectives of CTA Web Portal
- To build a network connecting individuals, institutions, CSR foundations, and agencies for knowledge exchange and resource support.
- To serve as a statewide hub for gathering and directing contributions from corporates, NRTs, and donors toward sustainable state growth.
- To ensure the optimal use of donated funds and provide transparent tracking and reporting for all development initiatives.
