Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana is an entrepreneurship support initiative managed by the government of Arunachal Pradesh. Through this program, the state administration offers financial relief by providing a subsidy on startup loans. The primary goal is to empower jobless youth by offering affordable funding to launch their own business ventures.
Under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana, the government assists youths in securing bank loans ranging from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 1 Crore for establishing new greenfield businesses. Applicants may obtain financing from any bank within the state, excluding the Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB) and the Arunachal Pradesh State Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd (Apex).
In addition to a 30% subsidy, female entrepreneurs are entitled to an extra 5% annual subsidy, provided their accounts do not become Non-Performing Assets (NPA). To qualify for these benefits, applicants must register via the central government's Stand Up India portal. Furthermore, participants in this startup scheme are required to self-finance at least 10% of their total project cost.
