The online application process for the Vyasa Kabi Fakir Mohan Bhasa Bruti is now live on the Odisha State Scholarship Portal. The Higher Education Department has opened online scholarship applications under the e-Medhabruti and Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti schemes for the 2021-22 academic session. Eligible students from Odisha enrolled in undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and technical/professional programs, both within and outside the state, are encouraged to apply via the www.scholarship.odisha.gov.in portal.

Guidelines for the Vyasakabi Fakirmohan Bhasabruti Scheme
Named after the renowned author Fakir Mohan Senapati, this scholarship aims to promote the Odia language by supporting meritorious students pursuing higher education in the subject at both UG and PG levels.
Successful candidates will receive a one-time grant of Rs 20,000. Students entering the first year of a Plus III Arts program with Odia as an Honours subject—having cleared their Plus II exams with at least 60% aggregate marks from the CHSE, Odisha—are eligible to apply for the UG-level scholarship.
Similarly, students pursuing an MA in Odia who achieved 60% marks in their Odia Honours degree are eligible. The
