The official application form for the Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojna is available for download in PDF format. Residents can obtain both the E-KYC and application forms to request domestic LPG connections. Under the Mukhyamantri Grahani Suvidha Yojana, the state provides two complimentary cylinders to eligible households when they receive their new gas connections.
The Grihini Suvidha Yojana serves to empower women while promoting a cleaner, smoke-free environment throughout Himachal Pradesh. For the 2022-23 fiscal year, the state government has allocated a budget of Rs. 65 crore to support this initiative. In the 2022-23 state budget, the Finance Minister remarked, "Honorable Speaker, our administration expanded the Ujjwala Yojana to launch the 'Grihini Suvidha Yojana'. Through the collective success of these initiatives, Himachal has become a smoke-free state. We will continue these efforts in 2022-23 with even more relaxed criteria. I am pleased to announce that beneficiaries will now receive a total of three free cylinders, including the one provided at the time of connection."

Advantages of the Grihini Suvidha Yojana

- Existing connections without prior refills receive two free cylinders per year.
- Existing connections that already received two free cylinders are entitled to one additional cylinder.
The Finance Minister added, "I am happy to report that we have allocated Rs. 65 crore for 2022-23, an increase of Rs. 45 crore over the previous year. This scheme has brought smiles to our mothers and sisters. Himachal has officially become the first smoke-free state in the nation, a milestone achieved through public support."
