This support, offered under the Financial Aid for Children's Weddings Scheme, is provided in addition to the Rs. 51,000 benefit available through the Haryana Kanyadan Yojna. The Labour Welfare Board scheme allows benefits for the weddings of up to three daughters per registered family.
Consequently, registered workers in the unorganized sector (BOCW) are eligible for a total benefit of Rs. 1,01,000 for their daughter's marriage.
