The Chief Minister's Milk Gift Scheme 2026 was introduced by the Haryana administration under the leadership of CM Manohar Lal Khattar on August 5, 2020. Through this मुख्यमंत्री दूध उपहार योजना, the state authorities provide fortified milk at no cost to children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. Additionally, a new Women and Adolescent Girls Honor Scheme was introduced via video conference. Under this महिला एवं किशोरी सम्मान योजना, free sanitary pads are distributed to females from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families living in rural areas.
The primary objective of the Haryana Chief Minister's Milk Gift Scheme is to bolster nutritional intake for kids, expectant mothers, and nursing women. Eligible beneficiaries visiting anganwadi centers now receive 200 ml of fortified milk.

Haryana Chief Minister’s Milk Gift Scheme (मुख्यमंत्री दूध उपहार योजना) 2026
The Haryana state government launched the Milk Gift Scheme to elevate nutrition levels among children and mothers. Children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers attending anganwadi centers are entitled to 200 ml of fortified skimmed milk powder. Under this initiative, beneficiaries receive this milk supply six days a week.
Available Milk Flavors in the Scheme
To encourage consumption, the milk provided to beneficiaries comes in six distinct flavors as listed below:
- Chocolate (चॉकलेट)
- Rose (गुलाब)
- Cardamom (इलाईची)
- Vanilla (वनीला)
- Plain (प्लेन)
- Butterscotch (बटरस्कॉच)
Primary Beneficiaries of the Milk Scheme
This initiative targets approximately 9.03 lakh children aged 1 to 6 years. Furthermore, about 2.95 lakh expectant and nursing mothers are set to benefit. The fortified milk is distributed for at least 300 days throughout the year.
