The Haryana state government introduced the Haryana Udhyam Memorandum Portal at harudhyam.edisha.gov.in on June 5, 2020. This H.U.M web platform serves as a centralized hub for all industrial units—including micro, small, medium, and large enterprises—operating within Haryana. Businesses can easily register as an Enterprise Level User and sign in to obtain their Unique Identification (UID) through the official portal.
The H.U.M portal assigns a Unique Identification (UID) to every entity, from small shops to major industrial plants, streamlining access to government services and permissions. Furthermore, the portal facilitates the registration of enterprise employees, helping the state build a comprehensive database of the industrial workforce.
This database also captures information on migrant workers, a need highlighted by past pandemic-related challenges. The HUM Unique ID functions as the primary key for integrating industrial data, which assists the government in effective policy planning and support.

The portal was built through a partnership between the Citizen Resource Information Department (CRID), the Industries & Commerce Department, and the Labour Department.
