The Andhra Pradesh government formally established the 2020-23 Special Industrial Policy specifically for SC and ST entrepreneurs. In line with this, CM Jagan officially inaugurated the Jagananna YSR Badugu Vikasam Scheme on October 26, 2020.

Ongoing welfare measures include Amma Vodi, Rytu Bharosa, Arogyasri, increased pension disbursements, and the allocation of housing plots for 30 lakh women beneficiaries.

Approximately 82% of positions within village secretariats are filled by SC, ST, BC, and minority community members. The government provides full fee reimbursement to prevent families from falling into debt. Additionally, the village and ward volunteer network ensures that welfare benefits reach every eligible citizen. The overarching goal is to provide equitable services regardless of caste, religion, or political affiliation, ensuring transparency and eliminating corruption.
