Registry of New Jammu and Kashmir Government Schemes: The Jammu and Kashmir administration, under the leadership of Governor Manoj Sinha, has published an updated catalog of welfare initiatives for its residents. This marks the first occasion since the repeal of Article 370 that the government has issued such a comprehensive list to support the general public. Following the implementation of the Indian Constitution in the Union Territory on 5 August 2019, citizens are now eligible to access the benefits provided through these programs featured in the 2026 J&K Government Schemes directory. This collection includes both central government initiatives and centrally funded projects currently active across the region.
This directory of over 80 government schemes curated by Manoj Sinha encompasses various sectors, including rural development, finance, youth affairs, and urban housing. Following the removal of Articles 35A and 370, this represents a significant effort by the central government to foster growth within the Union Territory. Residents of Jammu and Kashmir can now review the full list of 89 programs to determine their eligibility for these benefits.
