Rajasthan Government launched the Jan Soochna Portal (jansoochna.rajasthan.gov.in) on 13 September 2019 to provide citizens with centralized access to information regarding all welfare and public interest schemes in the state. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated this portal during a special ceremony at Birla Auditorium. Developed under the Rajasthan Innovation Mission (RAJIV), this website allows residents to easily view details about all ongoing government schemes.
On the Rajasthan Jan Soochna Portal, the state government proactively provides all information (Rajasthan Jan Suchna Portal Schemes List Online information) without requiring formal requests. Previously, citizens had to submit applications under Section 4(2) of the Right to Information Act 2005 to access data, which was often delayed or never updated. The Chief Minister launched this portal to simplify the lives of state citizens and ensure transparency.
