Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy stated that approximately 10 lakh weddings have been supported by the Kalyana Lakshmi program, reflecting Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's dedication to assisting underprivileged communities. Schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, the KCR Kit, Rythu Bandhu, and Rythu Bheema serve as national models for social welfare and could be replicated across India.
On February 13, 2022, the Minister distributed financial aid to 210 Kalyana Lakshmi beneficiaries and provided Rs. 26.46 lakh through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to 56 individuals. He emphasized that Telangana is currently being viewed as a benchmark for effective welfare implementation.
