Karnataka Kayaka Yojana 2026 - Financial Assistance for Self Help Groups
The Kayaka Yojana is an innovative loan program designed to promote entrepreneurship among members of Self Help Groups (SHGs). By offering financial support of up to Rs. 10 lakhs, the state government aims to stimulate business activities within these groups. This scheme addresses the long-standing request from SHGs for interest-free financing to expand their operations. Loans up to Rs. 5 lakh are provided at a 0% interest rate, while amounts ranging from Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh carry a modest 4% interest rate.
The government also intends to procure goods manufactured by women’s organizations participating in the Kayaka Yojana. To support this, the state will provide specialized training for product development and marketing. Under this initiative, the government aims to support 3,000 SHGs, with each group eligible for up to Rs. 10 lakh in funding.
