The initiative features two primary pillars: Assured Income and Death Compensation. Through this initiative, the West Bengal administration grants ₹10,000 annually per acre to qualified farmers and sharecroppers, distributed in two equal parts. Additionally, the government offers a ₹2 lakh death grant to the family of a deceased farmer. The first payment is issued in June for Kharif crops, while the second follows in November for Rabi crops.
