The Central Government introduced the National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) to coincide with the anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution, known as Samvidhan Diwas. The official NYPS portal is now live at nyps.mpa.gov.in. Eligible candidates can now register online for the scheme through the official website. The platform offers a variety of e-learning resources, including tutorials, educational literature, and training videos to assist participants in self-study.
The NYPS initiative is designed to strengthen democratic values while fostering discipline and tolerance for diverse perspectives among the youth. Furthermore, it provides students with a clear understanding of parliamentary procedures and functions. All accredited educational institutions across India are invited to participate in this "Portal Based Youth Parliament Programme." According to the official timeline, the registration window for the National Youth Parliament Scheme opened on 1 April 2023 and closed on 30 September 2023.

Follow these steps to complete your online registration for the NYPS:
STEP 1: Navigate to the official National Youth Parliament Scheme website at nyps.mpa.gov.in
STEP 2: On the main page, select the "Login" button located in the header, or visit https://nyps.mpa.gov.in/Login.aspx to access the login portal (Note: The deadline for the 3rd edition of NYPS was 30 September 2023):-
