RBI CMS Portal: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has introduced a dedicated Complaint Management System (CMS) on its official website. Users can now conveniently submit and track grievances against banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) via cms.rbi.org.in. The RBI Governor inaugurated this digital platform to streamline the consumer grievance redressal mechanism. The public can now visit the central govt's CMS portal on the official RBI website to report issues regarding any RBI-regulated financial institution.
The CMS portal is optimized for both desktop and mobile use. Additionally, the RBI intends to launch an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) feature for real-time complaint status updates. This system is designed to enhance the customer experience by ensuring grievances are addressed promptly. By providing automated confirmation alerts, the CMS increases transparency, allows users to monitor their case status, and enables online filing of appeals against Ombudsman rulings.
