The Tamil Nadu government has introduced the Right of Way (RoW) Portal, accessible at row.tn.gov.in. Users can now complete the TN Right of Way Portal registration and login process online. This platform allows telecommunication and infrastructure firms to secure necessary clearances from District Collectors in an efficient and transparent manner. The portal was officially inaugurated by former Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on November 24, 2020.
Tamil Nadu Right of Way Portal Overview
This initiative is designed to bolster telecom infrastructure and simplify business operations within the state. The portal streamlines the delivery of essential services to Telecom Service Providers (TSP) and Internet Providers (IP) with speed and transparency. Companies can apply for approvals regarding underground or overhead Optical Fibre Cables, as well as tower installations on land or buildings. The Tamil Nadu Information Technology Department is responsible for the development of this system.
