The goal of the Haryana Rooftop Solar Panel Subsidy initiative is to foster eco-friendly building designs that optimize energy efficiency across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. To bolster energy security, installing solar power systems has been made a requirement for specific building types throughout the state.
The Rooftop Solar Program set ambitious goals to integrate 3000 MW of grid-connected solar capacity by 2017 and 20,000 MW by 2022. With an average daily solar radiation of 4.6 kWh/m2, the state is well-positioned for this transition.
