The Andhra Pradesh administration has introduced the AP YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku Bhoomi Rakshana Pathakam Scheme for 2026. Under this project, the state government is executing an extensive land survey that commenced on January 1, 2021. To grant permanent land titles, every portion of state territory is undergoing a resurvey utilizing advanced drone technology. Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated this program on December 21, 2020, at Takkellapadu village, located near Jaggaiahpet in the Krishna district.
AP YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku Bhoomi Rakshana Pathakam Scheme 2026
Approximately 4,500 survey teams and 15,000 personnel are engaged in the execution of the AP YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku Bhoomi Rakshana Pathakam. The estimated expenditure for this land survey initiative is around Rs. 987.46 crore. The state government is focusing on key activities including boundary demarcation, distribution of ownership passbooks, and the deployment of mobile courts to settle property disagreements on-site.
This comprehensive survey is long overdue, as it is the first such exercise in Andhra Pradesh in over a century. Upon completion, every plot will be assigned a unique identification number, allowing owners to access full property documentation and securing their legal rights to prevent future disputes.

2nd Phase - Covering 6,500 villages
3rd Phase - Covering roughly 5,500 villages.
District authorities have finalized all logistical preparations for the implementation of the AP YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku Bhoomi Rakshana Pathakam.
Need for YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku Bhoomi Rakshana Pathakam Scheme
Given that the last survey occurred a century ago, this updated land program is essential. CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy initiated the survey teams from Takkellapadu village, marking a simultaneous start across all districts. The YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku Bhoomi Rakshana Pathakam is designed to provide permanent solutions to long-standing land ownership conflicts.
