The Uttar Pradesh administration is set to launch the UP Chief Minister’s Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (CMAPS) for 2026. Through this initiative, the state government intends to provide skill training to young applicants and connect them with stable employment opportunities for a fixed period. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 2,500 while serving as on-the-job interns. Eligible candidates can now register by completing the UP CMAPS online application form.

In addition to the 2026 CMAPS program, the UP government has introduced the Yuva Udyamita Vikas Abhiyan (YUVA) scheme. Under this "Yuva Hub" initiative, the state plans to establish dedicated youth development centers in every district.

To support the 2026 CMAPS initiative, the government, led by CM Yogi Adityanath, has earmarked Rs. 100 crore in the 2026 state budget.
