The "Swami Vivekananda Swanirbhar Karmasansthan Prakalpa (SVSKP)" is a flagship program designed to foster self-employment for unemployed youth, specifically focusing on women, minority communities, and backward classes. Eligible individuals or groups receive assistance to launch enterprises through bank-backed financing.
Subsidy for Individual / Group in SVSKP
West Bengal Swarojgar Corporation Ltd. (WBSCL) offers a government subsidy covering 30% of project costs, capped at Rs. 1.5 lakh for individuals and Rs. 3.5 lakh for groups of five or more members.
Individual projects are branded as "AtmaMaryada," while group ventures are known as "AtmaSamman."
