Under the AP YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2026, the government provides financial aid of Rs. 75,000 to women from SC, ST, BC, and minority backgrounds over a span of four years. Beneficiaries receive an annual payment of Rs. 18,750. This initiative is designed to positively impact approximately 26 lakh women across the state.

This scheme aims to help economically disadvantaged women improve their quality of life. To qualify for the YSR Cheyutha assistance, applicants must be between the ages of 45 and 60.

3rd Installment Update

The government has successfully rolled out the third phase of the YSR Cheyutha scheme. Over 26 lakh women are receiving benefits for the third consecutive year, with Rs. 4,949 crores recently disbursed directly into their bank accounts. Official data indicates that in the last three years, the government has distributed Rs. 14,110 crores through Cheyutha, Rs. 19,617 crores via Amma Vodi to 44.50 lakh recipients, Rs. 12,758 crores through Asara to 78.74 lakh people, and Rs. 3,615 crores under the Sunna Vaddi interest-free loan program.

The Chief Minister highlighted that funds are transferred transparently and directly to beneficiaries without any intermediaries. He encouraged women to compare the progress achieved under the current administration with previous governance.
