On March 9, 2023, the Finance Minister unveiled the Maharashtra Budget 2023-24, stating, "The Magel Tyala Shettale scheme, launched in June 2015, will be expanded to include support for orchards, drip irrigation, paddy cultivation, protective linings, shade nets, greenhouses, advanced sowing equipment, and cotton shredding tools for interested farmers. A budget of Rs. 1000 crores has been allocated for these various agricultural schemes in 2023-24."

Eligible farmers can complete their online registration for the Magel Tyala Shettale (मागेल त्याला शेततळे) Farm Pond Subsidy program by following these steps:
