Any Indian resident is eligible to register for scholarships via this MahaDBT site. Eligibility criteria and funding disbursement follow the specific guidelines outlined for each scheme.
The Maharashtra government encourages all residents to link their Aadhaar numbers to ensure funds are deposited directly into Aadhaar-compliant bank accounts. Nevertheless, individuals without an Aadhaar number may still submit an online application and complete the registration process to claim benefits.

Follow the steps below to successfully apply and register for MahaDBT scholarship programs:
STEP 1: Navigate to the official MahaDBT website at https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/
STEP 2: On the main page, select your preferred scheme, then click the "New Applicant Registration" button located on the right side of the interface.
STEP 3: On the subsequent screen, you may proceed with registration either by using your Aadhaar number or without it.
STEP 4: Aadhaar-Linked Registration – If you possess an Aadhaar number, select "Yes," input your "Aadhaar number," and validate it via OTP to access the digital scholarship application form.
