Maharashtra government is accepting online registration applications for textile units for 2026 via dirtexmah.gov.in. Textile businesses across the state can now sign up through the official Directorate of Textiles portal. This registration allows units to access benefits under the New State Textile Promotion Policy 2018-23. Once registered and verified by the Textiles department, eligible units can apply for electricity/power subsidies online.
The textile industry plays a vital role in GDP growth, manufacturing output, job creation, and export earnings. Currently, this sector accounts for approximately 14% of India’s industrial production, 4% of the GDP, and 13% of total exports.

Maharashtra Textile Unit Online Registration Process
Follow the steps outlined below to complete your textile unit registration on the official Maharashtra Directorate of Textiles portal:
Step 1 - Navigate to the official website at dirtexmah.gov.in
Step 2 - On the main page, select the "Registration Form for Textile Unit" option or click this link to proceed. The page will appear as shown below:
Step 3 - Click on "New Registration" (marked as 1 in the image above) to access the general registration form for new textile users.
Step 4 - Provide all required organizational details, upload your Registration Certificate, and attach a passport-sized photograph.
Finally, click "Submit 1st Part" to finalize your registration. If you need to return to an application, use the "Login for Incomplete Registration Forms" link.
