The Madhya Pradesh government introduced the MP Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Yojana on September 23, 2018. Through this initiative, the state provides cashless medical coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh to approximately 25.4 million residents. The Niramayam scheme covers individuals listed in the 2011 Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC), as well as those registered under Samagra and Sambal programs. Citizens can now access details regarding the online application process, hospital networks, eligibility requirements, and the beneficiary list at ayushmanbharat.mp.gov.in

As the Sambal Yojana expands, the reach of the Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Yojana is also expected to grow. There are no limitations regarding family size, age, or gender, and participants are not required to pay any premiums to receive the scheme's medical benefits.

Beneficiaries can present their Aadhar Card, Ration Card, Voter ID, or Ayushman Family Card to secure treatment at any government or empaneled private hospital in Madhya Pradesh. This free care is provided under the Niramayam Yojana, which serves as the state-specific implementation of the central government’s Ayushman Bharat - PM Jan Arogya Yojana.
